Times are hard for poor George. He hasn't got two ha'pennies to rub together, and he's desperate to help a poor young girl and her little niece on the run from the authorities. He's even ready to pawn his trusty ukulele... until an eccentric old auntie dies and leaves him an absolute fortune!
Typically, collecting his inheritance proves just a little too much for George. The old lady has hidden it in a chair that has already been auctioned! Now George and his pals must find the chair before a crooked solicitor scoops the lot!
