Keith Durrant, K.C. plays a brilliant young barrister who is on the verge of being promoted to the Bench as a junior judge, when his wild younger brother, Larry, accidentally kills the ex-husband of his girlfriend Wanda. When Larry turns to Keith for help, Keith faces the dilemma of whether to inform the police, well knowing that if he does his chances of becoming a judge will be ruined. He decides to keep quiet.
