Two former Second World War Air force pilots recall their lives and loves through flashbacks.
Review:
-
I had originally, at first, come across this rare and forgotten gem on eBay, going up for like, $50. However, last February, I was finally able to snag up a VHS copy of this gem for $13 on Amazon.com. And when the tape finally came in, I watched it and I was amazed at how wonderful this film truly is.
The movie centers around World War II vet George (Played by George Touliatos), who lives alone in an apartment in Toronto, save for his pet parrot. George works as a horse trainer and another neighbor, Olga, often helps around his home. While messing around in an abandoned room, George meets a young girl named Jennifer (Played by Lisa Schrage from HELLO MARY LOU: PROM NIGHT 2), who reminds him of his wife, whom he lost during World War II. Romance ensues between George and Jennifer.
Recommended.
