Series One:
The affluent, middle-class Manson family – successful publisher Peter, his wife Cassie and daughter Prue – enjoy an apparently harmonious existence. But Susan’s marriage to Gavin, a handsome young American, splits the family apart as Peter can no longer contain his jealousy and incestuous desire for his daughter. Matters deteriorate as Prue and Cassie indulge in extramarital affairs.

But a tragedy is destined to engulf the Mansons and their closest associates – one that will be as shocking as it is unexpected

Series Two:
Peter is a broken man and suicidal after the shocking death of his daughter. A traumatised Cassie resumes her affair with the widowed Gavin but also finds herself attracted to the charismatic Evan Lewis, the doctor treating Peter. To further complicate matters, Sarah is now married and Peter falls for Gavin’s new girlfriend…
